it does help to increase the yield. as it simulates the mother leaving the nest for a swim and then returning. We have had success by not doing it but we get better results by lifting the lid for 10 - 20 mins each day

I have just got 8 eggs that i am going to out in the incubator. Is it true that they have to be cooled for 15 minuted and sprayed with lukewarm water from days 4 to 27?
