WIDY Museum of Sex

So Ronda and I went down to the Musem of Sex in NY, not sure whether it would be horribly tacky, possibly titillating or very sombre and informative. Turned out to be one of the best things I'd seen in the city. Pictures were welcomed, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was jam packed full of information covering all the various kinks, fetishes and desires, with pictures, videos, diagrams and actual props that you were encouraged to touch. The sound you can hear in the background is a Balloon Play video, and the map on the floor is this very cool 'Roadmap of Kink' that an artist did, showing the overlap between all the different areas and motivation of kink. I have more detailed pictures of it. Upstairs was an exhibition about the history of sex in the movies, which was fascinating and I lost a good two hours in there. Did you know the very first porn movie was in 1902? Using homeless people and using the 'Us poor helpless females were driving along and our car broke down, could you give us a lift. We'll be *ever* so grateful' plot. Go see it if you can.
