@vapno92 "Hemi" word generally used to describe a hemispherical form combustion chambers. If you are talking about "Chrysler LLC HEMI®", it is a different world. Chrysler is currently gives this name to the non-real-hemi engines too.

@CORVAIRWILD It is Tatra! Here in Slovakia every 5th car is rear engined and i have seen lots of these Tatra 603-s there. BTW my friend have 3 pieces of these Tatra V8 engines

It is a hemi in that the Tatra V8 has hemispherical heads, but so did many Peugeot 4s and English Daimler V8s, and some older Toyota 4s as well not to mention Jaguar inline 6s and V12s. Hemispherical combustion chambers are by no means unique to Chrysler, even in American cars, Duesenberg, Mercer, and a few others had them as well. The current Chrysler Hemis have semi hemi heads, because of smog regulations they couldn't use a full bowl shaped combustion chamber like the old ones.

It's not a HEMI engine. It's a Tatra air cooled 2.5litre V8 engine.
