Hi, This is a great video. Thank you for producing it. I have a client right now who will benefit from ha ving this excellent visual guide to conditioning a positive emotional state when wearing a muzzle. I do hope that you go on to make more videos :O) Jane APDT 01048

Very nice video! I may have missed it, but have you ever considered using markers?(such as verbal markers or clicker depending on what the person likes)

Thanks for this video, I am currently looking after a fear aggressive dog that can't go to the vets until she learns to be muzzled so this is PERFECT for us!

I think its bull shit to put so much food into the dog! The ritual takes to lang, the dog will asosiate the muzzle with food every time she get it on, she'll expect food.
You can easely do it without so much foot, just 1 or 2 to make it easy, than without, you can reward with affactian to, even better.

Hi
That your opinion. I want the dog to associate the muzzle with what they find rewarding, not what I think they find rewarding. Most ppl rather have cash than verbal praise.
However, I would love to see a different method. Please let me know if you post one on here, look forward to watching it.

After working through the process and showing your video to my client I wanted to share this with you. When I arrived for our training session, she was bursting with pride, "look what we've done". She presented the muzzle to the dog and he promptly placed his nose into the muzzle and she clipped it on, he sat patiently and calmly waiting for his next cue. THANKS AGAIN ! from Meandthedogs :)
