The Kaufman Lawler Feud: Chapter 27 - Beware the Russian Invader

Still on November 19, 1983 from Memphis TV. Andy is more in the background for this clip but I wanted to include it anyway. What you have here is promo from the Russian Invader, complete with footage of a military parade in Moscow. He then squashes Robert Reid.

As best as I can tell the Russian Invader was brought in for a one week run as a way to capitalize on the media hype around the ABC made-for-TV film "The Day After" which was scheduled to air the next night. If you're unfamiliar, "The Day After" is a drama about a nuclear war between the USA and USSR from the point of view of several families in Kansas. It was a very big deal in '83.

And visits us about twice a week to have dinner, and visit with his grandaughter. Like i said before, he's a great guy. And i reckon if he knew you were being an annoying jackass he would personally tell you to get bent.
