Yes the fairing does cut the wind to your chest but not neck and head. I do like the apes and fairing look . Thanks, chris

fxdx was one of the most powerful harley engines/models, so it''s pretty quick. sportsters are made a bit bigger these days, so go try one out too. thanks, chris

what size rear tire

@blsftw666 - it's stock 16 inch but I lowered the rear by an inch with new shocks

I have a 2011 street bob, right now I have stock apes on it but I'm thinking of either getting taller apes (I like the look better) or a fairing like yours. Does this fairing break up the wind at all? I think it would be nice to have on a long trip.

how are these bikes on power? i want a sportster but i feel i might be too tall so this is the next best thing i guess
