The song "Cold Missouri Waters" by James Keelaghan, as played by me on my guitar. I'm basing my rendition of the song off the version performed by Richard Shindell. He played the song on the album CRY CRY CRY, which is a trio project he did with Dar Williams and Lucy Kaplansky.
excellent....sing that song all your life and pour yourself into the story it tells....
loved the cry cry cry rendition, especially the harmonies...
and john garza's cover there in the park w/ 30 people milling about is wonderful
you have a little of both covers...real good

Just wanted to compliment you on your choice of song to cover. You do a very nice job, good vocals and good guitar.
Have you ever covered Richard's song,
"Sparrow's Point?"

Not bad! I'm spoiled, been a Keelaghan fan for years, but it's a great song, and you've done a terrific job.
