parts of this are really good. Especially the lead in sfx of the best thing with the first lines of chocolate disco. I am a HUGE the best thing fan, so I guess I reacted bad to the tonal change of the chorus but there are certain seconds in that part that are really interesting from a base melody point of view!! 4:00 on is heaven

@M1M1M1nty Thank you for your comment. Since these two songs differed in KEY, I surely could not but change the KEY of The Best Thing. I am also very much pleased with the 4:00 on.
