I am sad to announce the passing of Frank Jolliffe on February 8, 2012. Only a few weeks earlier I heard from Frank requesting that I upload more videos from our 1989 - 1990 Comcast Studio sessions. - Michael Raso, Producer - Meadowlands Showcase

The Chapman Stick (the Stick) is an electric musical instrument devised by Emmett Chapman in the early 1970s. A member of the guitar family, the Chapman Stick usually has ten or twelve individually tuned strings and has been used on music recordings to play bass lines, melody lines, chords or textures. Designed as a fully polyphonic chordal instrument, it can also cover several of these musical parts simultaneously

There will be a memorial concert for Frank Jolliffe at 1pm, Sunday April 1, 2012. The location will be the Ivanhoe Wheelhouse, 4 Spruce Street between McBride and Market, Paterson NJ.
