Back in January I bought a Model 27-2 with a 6 inch barrel for $600. Since I bought it I only shot it once. I used 125 grain hollow point reloads, and I don't know what everyone is complaining about when they say it has allot of recoil.
I couldn't say, as I have only shot .38's out of it since I inherited it. The .38's hardly kick at all, and I cant imagine the recoil of the .357 mags to be overwhelmingly stronger.
The heavier the bullet the heavier the recoil... That said, I don't notice the recoil either. I hold mine as light as a feather... Of course mine has an 8 inch barrel. :P
