Diamonds in the Rough: The Completed Sculpture

Watch as Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden artist-in-residence, Patrick Dougherty, completes his large-scale, sculpture of woven sticks & saplings in the Anderson Meadow, with the help of Andy Lynch, and Garden volunteers. We are calling the process "Meadowmorphosis." The sculpture, named Diamonds in the Rough, was completed on May 22, 2011, and will be on display for years to come.

To date, Patrick Dougherty has completed more than 175 works at gardens, universities, and museums throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.
