Winning Hearts and Minds in Afghanistan

If you knew that you could save lives of American and NATO troops, and defeat the Taliban, by supporting a charity, wouldn't you do it? As Mr. Patriot, I will even go so far as to say I think Spirit of America is the *key* to winning the War in Afghanistan.

The bottom line is that villagers in Afghanistan won't support the Taliban or al Qaeda if they see that the international forces and Afghan government under President Karzai are making their lives better. The US still has about 100,000 troops in Afghanistan; all ISAF countries have another 41,389 serving in the war. In addition, there are 224,000 active duty Afghan soldiers and police. The war is far from over, so there is still a chance to turn the tide of the war around - AND SPIRIT OF AMERICA IS THE KEY!

It is impossible to win the hearts and minds of people when you are conducting a genocide against them. it seems that the Afghan and Iraq wars are just Vietnam all over again, last year there was evidence that American troops were murdering and raping the villagers and i'm ashamed to say that us Brits knew about it but did nothing to stop it. the world needs to stop being intimidated by america

Ever since these, so called, soldiers entered that country, there has never been a bigger flow of so much pure heroine on the streets of England, Europe, USA, Australia and other western nations. Even if it's only to reverse the flow of CIA sponsored heroine to the west, bring back the Taliban. Our children's lives in the West were far safer in their hands than with these current Afghani dictators.
