Barbercut win

This is a video of myself winning at the redemption game "Barbercut" - The goal of the game is to cut the rope by controlling a small platform that has a blade attached on it. Once positioned, the blade will do a cut motion automatically and if cut properly, the prize will fall. This arcade is located in Montreal Canada and had cash prize varying from 100 to 200$

@chokomango basically this game is a scam right? i had the scissors lined up perfectly and it didnt cut twice.

@NegroXFile yes. The machine is programmed to only put a certain amount of power in the blade if you do line it up perfectly. that means it wont cut it the first time. Also, it'll only line up right on the spot after a certain of money. It's not a scam if you get lucky like I did :p

I wish I had seen that when I saw this game at vegas!!!!

I know security at vegas would be stronger than at any other arcade, but this is where I must test my deathstar BarberCutter!!!

I'm currently buying a ton of highpower laser pointers and going to try to focus them all at 1 point and see if I can cut the string on barbercut!!!

I saw this at the airport in Minnesota, put a $1 in lost, then tried one more time, focusing a little better, ended up snipping off a garmin nuvi 40LM, worth $150. Tried a few more times, there is a trick, even if you line it up perfectly, you MUST be in the center of the razor blade, or the line will just bend. It's also easier to win the heavier prizes, more tension on the line. Loved the idea.

Ive seen these machines in bowling places with real soccer jerseys, dr. dre beats, vip concert tickets, etc. and honestly its not a hard game to win. if u have a spare 20 bucks try winning and you probably will
