@seppsters I did not know that! I often said I agreed with him on 99% of things, because the 1% I didn't was his Monetarist beliefs. I'll have to look this up to confirm it, but I had no idea Milton Freidman changed from a Monetarist to someone supporting the abolition of central banking by the state!
Friedman would like to privatize almost every fed agency we have, except military. He thinks we should spend more. Our nation's debt can be tied to buy hi-tech aircraft at trillions of dollars (and the number of jobs created in the military industry don't make a debt in unemployment for the nation. FDC says their budge has been slashed to where they cant attend to issues our public wants answers response to. free enterprse is necessary but weve replace the above with corporatism.
The Austrians support a government controlled Gold Standard -- an anti-libertarian stance. Friedman said the gold standard might make sense under 19th century standards, when non-defense spending was 3% of GDP. Now it's 24% of GDP. Milton Friedman is the greatest monetary theorist in history. You are not even qualified to disagree with him.
lol, Donahue doesn't understand how monopolies are created at all. Free markets destroy monopolies, governments create them.
