The Shoes Perform!.....Un, Deux, Trois, Four

A drunken night at the pub! We decided to grab a few instruments and play a few songs. Adam (singing) asks to please forgive the awful bit of singing (that may include all the singing for some) as we were rather drunk at the time. Adam: Guitar and vocals, Chris: Makeshift bass and backing vocals, Lewis: Drums, and Mark: Director of photography!

P.S. Yes we realise now that the maraca was indeed a bad idea!

Hope you enjoy your little taster of The Shoes.

Lyrics:

Un, Deux, Trois, Four

Every life I would try to to lead
None of the would end up following
Every time I would try to leave
My past was always catching up with me

I need new shoes
To take me down some unfamiliar streets
These tired old feet
Lead me in directions I don't want to be
I'm too old to change
But I'm damned if I'm loosing again
At least I can say I tried

Each fork in the road I decided on
Has turned out to be the wrong one
And now I'm lost and on the wrong track
I've burned my bridges now there's no turning back

I need new shoes
To take me down some unfamiliar streets
These tired old feet
Lead me in directions I don't want to be
I'm too old to change
But I'm damned if I'm loosing again
At least I can say I tried
