"Serenata is a sequel to my other SS/HG video: Evil Angel. This did not start out as a sequel of any sort, but it slowly turned itself into one. I'm not completely happy with the way it turned out, so I may redo it eventually, but I was tired of fiddling with it and decided to post it anyway. Hope you like it!

**Obviously, this is entirely AU** Hermione and Severus are still together and are still very much in love with one another. Hermione, being who she is, still wants Severus to trust her enough to tell her the things about his past that she doesnt know. My story begins as they each remember what they have together, and the circumstances that brought them there. **B/W sequences are memories** One night, after remembering the first time he kissed her, Hermione dares to ask him again:Tell me, Severus Reluctantly, he tells her that he will show her some of the things he has done in the past, things he is not proud of, and she probably will not like what she sees. She takes his hand, telling him it will be alright. In his Pensieve, he shows her his memories of his time as a Death Eater: the Dark Mark; being at The Dark Lords side; terror; destruction; torture. All these things she suspected, but one memory stands above all the rest: Severus Snape was the wizard who single-handedly destroyed Azkaban prison. He freed the captive Death Eaters, including Bellatrix LeStrange, who then murdered Sirius Black. Horror-struck, Hermione now realizes why Severus didnt want to tell her certain things: he is afraid she will blame him for Sirius death. He grabs her arm, trying to explain, but she pulls away. She is so disturbed by that single memory that in a fit of rage she tells him to stay away from her. They are separated for awhile, each missing the other. Hermione remembers a few tender moments they have shared and is suddenly shocked back to her senses. Severus is not a murderer; he only did the things she witnessed in order to keep his cover as a spy. How can she blame him for something that he had no choice in? She knows what kind of man he really is; she loves him, and she knows that he loves her, too. She cannot stand to be away from him for another moment, and she runs to him, damning herself for ever doubting him. He senses her coming back to him and runs into the night, embracing her, knowing that nothing will ever come between them again. The past in a memory.the future a fantasy.it is only in the present that we truly live.

@nagisa51 Thanks for the comment! :) You wouldn't think it would be a popular 'ship, but I think it's probably one of the most popular in the fandom. I prefer a post-Hogwart's, 30-ish Hermione anyway. :)

Hermine is 1 while Snape is like in his 50's...

@JessiMae111 Severus is 37 when Hermione is 18... at least in the books. I prefer a Hermione that is in her early 30s when it comes to a relationship with him. :)

@tammydramaqueen1 Thanks... I believe the song is called "Serenata Immortale." Don't quote me on that, but I believe it's correct. :)
