Here's another one of my "early inspiration" videos. In the pocket, not flashy, but just somehow catchy. When I first heard "Damn the Torpedoes" I just wanted to play the drums.

Hey I know you're on vacation but are you going to make any more Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers videos? Stan is such an underrated drummer and you replicate his style so well.

I could definitely do some more petty. I also loved his under-stated style -- solid as a rock. It was a good beginning influence on me to have to be in the pocket AND have a few little chops here and there at the same time. I'll look in my catalogue and see what tickles my fancy and try to get something else up.
