0-0 tteokbeoki is the complete dish, if you are talking about the rice cake its called TTEOKBEOKI TTEOK, Eat your Kimch gets it wrong too.

Cooking syrup, and cooking sauce? what brand should I get?

Oh, the cooking syrup that we used is called "요리당" from "백설", and the cooking sauce was "미향" from "오뚜기". You can get these at a Korean market. There are simillar ones in other brands. They are all the same. So you can just ask somebody at the market to get you the same things. Hope this helps you.
