Stephen King reading from new unpublished book!

09/23/11 at the George Mason Awards ceremony we were treated to Mr. King reading a 10 minute excerpt from a new story he's working on called "Dr. Sleep" It's a story about what happened to little Danny Torrence from The Shining. I am really looking forward to reading this one!!!

@wayneg91 im actually reading the last dark tower book and is amaizing i've already read carrie,salem's lot,the shining,cujo,cell,nightmares and dreamscapes dolores claiborne,cycle of werewolf,i love the dark tower series it is the biggest conection ever

@mountaindew171 I was quite lucky finding a copy of the Bachman books that still contained 'Rage'. Went to my local second hand book store and the block said he had a copy but someone had already bought it. I went back a week later to look again to look again and found the copy he thought he sold. Literally directly infront of where he sat. And only $10 as well. :D

Ah can't wait, but im reading his books in chronological order, so far i've read Carrie, 'Salems Lot', The Shining, Rage (yes i found a copy) and Night Shift, So 'The Stand' is whats im up to ... probably get to Doctor Sleep by 2020

@wayneg91 You're reading the stuff I love! His new stuff is good but the old stuff packs a punch that the newer stuff lacks I think. It's still good, just a bit more subtle in it's scares. I have all the Bachman books thanks to my mom who was shopping in D.C. the weekend it was made public he was Bachman :-)
