@tthomaselli2 Actually, none of these. Star Trek: TNG was a first-run syndicated series--it was only shown on independent channels. As a result, it became the most successful first-run syndicated series in history. Since then, CBS and Paramount have merged.

@LogoAttitude Paramount is also the home entertainment distributor of the CBS-owned "Star Trek" franchise....well, the film and television incarnations, anyhow.
-
@LogoAttitude That kinda make a lot of since.
-
@dondonp12004 Viacom and CBS are both controlled by National Amusements, so in a way they are still one company
-
@dondonp12004 Paramount still distributes the DVDs of the CBS library, and still has feature film rights to Star Trek
-
this is a plastered print - the Paramount logo is the 1995 variation, the episode in question originally had the 1991 variation
-
Is this the PAL version? The pitch was slightly higher than what I was expecting.

@PCCphoenix Me, too. CBS Paramount Network Television is now known as CBS Television Studios. Gee, I wish there might be a possible re-merger between the post-2005 CBS Corporation and the post-2005 Viacom to form the newly-renamed CBS Paramount, Inc. with the names of CBS Television Distribution and CBS Studios International being reverted to CBS Paramount Domestic Television and CBS Paramount International Television, respectively, and the CBS Television Studios name remaining the same.
-
@dondonp12004 That's right. I've seen the "CBS Paramount" label on all Star Trek releases since then because of that.
-
@PCCphoenix Now, CBS owns "Star Trek" and all other television properties that Paramount Pictures once owned prior to the 2005 "Viacon Split".
What channel originally aired this show?; ABC, NBC, TNN, etc.?
