Its not the question that where from the music is originated. It is more important rather that gypsies still won it and preserve it. Gypsies have always spread love to world through their valuable music. It is proudful thing that gypsies never get affected or diverted by any communal acts world over. I am impressed.

I see. In my opinion, Middle Eastern music and culture is much richer than European (western) culture. It's a shame that people in the Middle East are imitating western culture, when their own culture is much richer, with all due respect.
