TDIF 2000 Opening Film: "Incoming!"

Watching the new promos for Canada's E! network I could not help thinking ... hmm, have I seen this somewhere before? This is the opening film from the 2000 Toronto Digital Image Festival.

Note the signature cast-iron moose populating the city - remember those?!?

The cringe-worthy motion tracking looks pretty lame by today's standards, but it was done by hand with love.

TDIF was the world's largest independent computer animation festival and ran for eight years until 2001.
