@ThePantyDroper okay thanks

@aaaaflasd Don't beleive the mpg postings by the manufacturers, they are not accurate. There's a lot of variables involved and it depends on your driving conditions. Diesels feel completely different from gas. They have a lot of torque and low end power. On my jetta I could go uphill in 5th gear doing 50 km/h. Doing that in a gas jetta is very difficult. I will always choose diesel over hybrid.

@ThePantyDroper Wait, how did it get better mpg? And I looked online and it says that it doesn't. Also I have another question, how does diesel feel like? Is it any different than regular gas? I know that diesels don't use spark plugs but instead use glow plugs and that compression happens before fuel is injected, but what's the difference in the feel? Thanks

@aaaaflasd I use to have a jetta TDI. The other dude is not lying, it gets better hwy mpg than the prius. I easily got 50 mpg. But I don't care about mpg, I just liked the feel of a diesel. I now drive a truck that gets 15 mpg.

Dear santa.. thats just brutal
-
@dunti21 sigh... people like you. A prius still gets more MPG than your car. And even if it was in KMPH, your car still wouldn't get 90mpg... it's just not plausible.

@aaaaflasd this vid is kph so I talk in kph

C'est pas mal du tout je trouve...
The road isn't totaly horizontal. That could explain the difference...

It is a continuous variation transmission... When you are at full throttle the RPM is max. But if you whant a slow acceleration you can stand at a low RPM. We hear ithat RPM is low when I stop to accelerate. (sorry for my english...)
