This is a length of track I fine tune to perfection(I hope, hehe). All of it is glued down in place and the holes for the switch machines are drilled. I just need to solder on a couple feeders to supply the power.

  • i have a quitions im using a soldering iron to put copper and mabey aluminum to gether but it wont stick....im asking this to you becuase track needs a soldering iron

  • If you are soldering the power feeders to the track there should be no problem. The wire is copper and the track is nickle silver... very compatible. Make sure you have the correct electrical solder. Use a real fine solder, I got mine at a "Radio Shack". I heat the inside of the rail, with the feeder wire pressed against the outside of the rail. Next time I'm down at the layout, I'll try to make a how to video on soldering feeders.
