Coy Construction offers another tip on hiring a contractor for your construction project: understand value! Everyone is interested in getting the most for their dollar. We understand that you can SAVE MONEY BY DOING IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! Contractors who are not licensed, bonded or uninsured often come in with lower prices than licensed, bonded and insured contractors but you always get what you pay for. Don't get ripped off by someone who performs subpar work that needs to be redone by another contractor later. See the long-term picture and spend your money wisely. In the long run, you will save money by using an honest, licensed, bonded and insured construction company that provides quality work and uses quality materials that will last. Good luck and happy contractor hunting!

  • true true. Im a lic tile ,marble contractor. Everyone wants to save on floring inst. its brutal!!!!! I also get alot of fix it work, that sucks, trying to fix someone elses work.

  • Great message! I love how clearly you paint a picture of making my money last longer, how it's counter-intuitive to "spend" money to save money.

  • OMG! That is so true. You do get what you pay for. And when you don't spring for the better quality up front you will pay over and over. Prime example, I have a leaky bathtub in my apt. Instead of going in and fixing the plumbing, my landlord just pays his handy man to patch the wall every year from water damage. So stupid! I totally see what you are saying! Awesome video!
