This is a film project for school. The film was shot on 16mm film(it was my first time using the format) and was executed in about 2 weeks. The assignment involved using music to tell a story and to have no dialogue. We used a Canon Scopic to shoot the film. I was working with 4 100 foot roles of film stock(which roughly adds out to about 12 minutes of footage). I wish i didn't have to compress it so much because the quality really is beautiful, but i hope you enjoy anyway.

  • Very beautiful short film. Great job!

  • this made me txt a girl i like gnite :) when i hate txting

  • Very homosexualish video!

  • @R3APER24 Give it a rest you scholarly bastard

  • @ConvergecultBastard Presenting something as a preference and presenting something as essentially good for nothing is two different things.

  • @R3APER24 You've got your preference, I've got mine.

  • this is f,ing avesome!!!!!!!

  • @ConvergecultBastard Not to mention you can get in and out easily because digital cameras are usually smaller and doesn't force you to spend time loading film.

Both mediums have their advantages. I really hate when people like you downplay a medium because you're bias.

  • @ConvergecultBastard Wow you are really bias and closed minded. Digital sees in the shadows more. Film deals with highlights better. Digital is immensely cheaper allowing people to make their visions come true. I'm in film school and I will admit, Film school is essentially a waste. We live in a digital age. While people pay tuition, plus buying film reels, plus dealing with the lame rental service, the processing charge, and the transfer charge. Someone else took that money and made a film.

  • The only advantage of digital is that you can shoot hours of crap that you are never going to use in the edit suite. Wait.. did I say advantage??
