  • I think that the music especialy is to melodramatic for a beckett script. It destroys the feeling of insecurity and the dead end situation that someone would feel while watching an authentic play of beckett.

  • @hulkhulkidis

It was designed to challenge the emotions and the film is juxtaposed against the score. I am not a big believer in spoon feeding every emotion, I like leaving it up to interpretation but thanks for watching.

  • Seriously...? Absolute nonsense. I disliked everything about this production, but I particularly hated the substandard level of acting. A waste of time!

  • @stanwellz Sorry you didn't understand the symbolism and Grotowski style grotesque acting which was excatly what was needed for this interpretation....either way, art is subjective to each individual.

  • Hate to say it but unless it is precisly how Beckett wrote it or even directed it, he would would never approve.

As an artist though, I think it should be allowed to be creative and come up with your own adaptation and analysis of it.

  • the music is truly beautiful is there anyway to get a copy of the score?

  • This is a defilement.

On the contrary, I feel as though you did spoon feed the emotions, largely due to the choice of music. The way Come And Go was originally written gives more of a leniency for interpretation of the viewers than this piece. The extra male character used definitely took away from the original script. Instead of leaving the audience attempting to unravel the true meaning(s), it set in stone what the other characters reactions were aimed toward. It seemed more literal than symbolic.

  • unique experience, this one.

  • Das 5uxx000rrrzzz

  • i am really touched by this movie... it´s so sad. I was totally identified with the sorrow of the three women, remembering their past together. great. the man manipulating them, leaving the three alones with theirselves, though having each other aside. thank you so much.

    hehehehe

  • ...well it did say "adaption"

  • I didn't like it at all... I was not an adaptation. If there was anything taken from the play, then it can be (maybe) an inspired by Beckett.

Rather a nature film than anything important to pass to the viewer. Good luck next time.

  • i see the inspiration that came from "come and go" and i could see a few things that made it its own and some of the symbolism was done well but yet i do not see the fear that clearly.
