1. It's illegal in many countries and states to live feed animals with a backbone. AND THERE IS A GOOD REASON FOR THIS. That soft fur had no chance.
2. Watching and filming the act? You a sadist or something?
3. Uh... prekill isn't exactly hard work. It's cheaper to get them pre killed, anyway.

Bad idea. Better feed him prekilled natal rats. If he's not learnt to go for the head it can hurt him.

@v4mpir33d I get your concern. She does get e few scratches now and then. The thing is, she's been fed live mice (baby's) from when she was just e few days old... I early on tried to convert her to dead rodents but she struck at them just the same as she would a live one, hurting herself even more regularly. Switched back to live mice and didn't have any real problems with it. My python gets dead rats though
