Very different... in some ways... very similar in others-- at least, when written. But when spoken, the differences loom even larger. That's why i'm posting eastern- to preserve this dialect. There are only 390 native eastern (Giduwa) speakers (that have been identified) still living. That isn't much.

This is considerably different than the way its spoken in the western/overhill dialect. I didn't know it differed that much.
The same conversation in that dialect:
o'siyo (hello)
tohistu (how are you?)
osda (good)
nihina (and you?)
howa (okay/alright)
