Geothermal pools Lake Taupo, NZ - attempting to get in for a morning bath.

This made us laugh a lot.. classic blonde moment or innocent, raw enthusiasm??

On a very cold morning in NZ with very heavy frost, we same upon this steamy water and I thought what better way to warm up! the temperature was around 0 as I strip off to get in thinking how nice it will be to slide into the warm water...

as my very patient and wise friend looks on, she gently talks like Anastasia with calm and unconditional love as I attempt to get in.. I was very serious..




good thing I didnt just dive straight in like I normally do in waterholes everywhere! the water was boiling hot and I probably would have sank in the mud! not as cosy as it looked..

the next day I went in the thermal baths designed for bathing - to experience the power of the minerals and the warm thermal waters...

I felt the power of birth from the Earth and couldnt help dancing and singing in a deeply sacred way..
