Quicksilver Messenger Service performing Fresh Air at the closing of the Fillmore in 1971. I tried to clean up the audio a bit, let me know what you think.

  • dbrinkm1 - I responded to your comment on your channel, but went back to cut & paste - couldn't find it. Anyway, you were very lucky to see QMS. Gary D., Dino, Michael Lewis and John C. - I would trade all the concerts I've been to...just to have seen these guys.

  • @slj66213 Bill Grahmn was from NY & est, Fillmore West in SF. &. East in NY.He brought together most of the sixties SF groups but also booked all of the top groups touring the country.There was a large area right in front of the stage where everyone sat to enjoy the music.The air was thick with the smell of reefer and soon one would be passed to you to pass along..Great music and times you would never forget. SF also had the Avalon Ballroom and Winterland in which to enjoy music venues..
