So Ireland has voted 'yes' to the Lisbon Treaty. For the 27 member states of the European, the vote signals the kick-off for a high-level game of musical chairs. Who will become the first European president? And Foreign Minister? and who will be the new members of the European Commission? The timing of this process all depends on Czech President Vaclav Klaus and the constitutional court in the Czech Republic.

  • Hilarious! I love the way they refer to democracy and independent thought only as an "obstacle" which should be removed with "haste".

    Very funny.

What a bunch of coked up spastics are those politicians.

  • Yeah, to late now, sorry, have a nice day...

  • LOL. Klaus refuses to sign before the constitutional courts approves? He can't sign while it's in the constitutional process, that's written in the Czech constitution. BTW it doesn't matter now.

  • Here Here people fought and died for Irish freedom and the yes men gave it all away .

  • I was indecisive not I am not so sure !!!!

  • @CRAPCANNONS: Well said! (PS I'm not Irish)

  • It is democracy. The Irish still had the right to vote no. You people should respect the right of the Irish people to change their mind on the Lisbon Treaty.

  • Ireland's situation changed since the last referendum and all the main political parties of Ireland apart from Sinn Fein were in favour of the treaty.

  • I'm Irish and semi-euro sceptic, but you don't speak for me. Europe has been good to Ireland in many ways.

  • Your'e retarded. Don't you have TV in Uganda. We need to get you people TV's ffs. Nobody has stood up more than the Irish. They have had 4 referendums at least on Europe now. Nice 1&2, Lisbon 1&2
