i first found him when i was sad and say some rain falling. i decided to type into youtube kiss the rain. and i found his song on piano. ive been in love with his music ever since. that was long before twilight came out. Im happy that he did become famous though twilight because, well hes famous and people are listening to him. More than just me and the other weird-os of my age who like piano.

Personaly I LIKE Lady Gaga and All Time Low and Eminem and what not, as well as sarah brightman, andrea bocelli, rolling stones, blake shelton, black veil brides, lea michele, and yes yiruma. I feel it's important to have a diverse taste in music, and not just limit yourself to one genre, even if it is classical. Yes, I am only 15 (almost 16), but I think I have the right idea here.

It both saddened and annoyed me to know what sort of recognition Classical gets.

Yiruma doesn't fit in with any genre but himself [: But DO YOUR RESEARCH, everyone considers him as 'world music' or a 'new age' artist BUT he says “I’m Christian, and I am not a New-age artist" He doesn't like to be affiliated with it. Either way I think we can all agree that Yiruma has his own genre of classicheartstealingamaziness and more [: NOW, lets move on and go back to listening to his music all day instead of debating what genre or how people found out about his music.
