This hybrid PEOPLExpress / Continental Boeing 727-200 is obviously very heavy but still pulls off a wave as she's struggling to leave ground effect. This is one of my new favorite videos, I'd love to know the backstory on this one!

Pre-mature flow seperation? Seems unlikely he'd intentionally rock the wings, those types of signals are for compliance manuevers if intercepted. Hmmm...

maybe it is affected by the wake turbulence left over by a previous heavy aircraft (e.g. maybe a delta L1011)
