If a player has the puck he may enter befor the puck if possession is lost and regain in the zone then it's offsides but in this case ovechkin had total possession of the puck giving him an clean entering so there you have it and I you think it's offsides well then go on google and prove yourself wrong

not offside, for example, you can enter the zone skating backwards as long as you have puck control.

@Hourlyruin1 ehhh not necessarily. offsides calls are frquently missed. with nhl refs, theres never a guarantee
