I am glad all that commented and disbelieve God can keep His word are either unsaved or dwelling in unbelief which whatever is not of faith is sin. You can answer to the Word of God at the judgement seat of Christ and tell him all about why you had no faith in His word.

There was earlier LXX's before Origen, that Origen edited, but they were all in the AD, not in the BC. The present LXX we use today is Origen's. It was Origen who added the Apocrypha books to the LXX.

No, there is no Mss evidence for the LXX. There are a few scraps of the Torah from 1-2nd B.C., but there is no evidence that a BC LXX ever existed and was ever quoted by the Lord or the Apostles.

Pastor Gipp is in error, although the exact details of its time and manner of origin are not known for certain, theres no doubt that the Septuagint exists and is very ancient.

I read the KJV!!!
I want to make it clear that I do not believe that either the King James Version in English or the Septuagint in Greek are error free.
I believe that the original manuscripts were error free in their original languages. The KJV is the closest in English.
Praise God for the simplicity in Christ and that God has given to us the HOLY SPIRIT who teaches us all things.
The Kingdom of God is not just in word but also in power!!!

Justin Martyr explains where the LXX came from on page 173 of Volume 1, and again on pages 278 and 279.
Irenaeus (180 AD) mentions it on pages 451 and 452.
Clement of Alexandria (195 AD) mentions it twice in volume 2, pages 308 and 334.
Tertullian (197 AD) mentions it on page 32 of volume 3.
If you discredit these church fathers then you undermine the Authorized Version because they are the proof that the KJV is the BIBLE!
The LXX did exist and it was used by Christians.

I believe this teacher is in error.
160 AD, On page 233 of volume 1 of the ante nicene fathers Justin Martyr is rebuking the Jews who were trying to deny the virgin birth and he uses the the septuagint to do it, explaining that their very own scholas translated it virgin in the lxx.
Origen the heretic did was not around until around 240 AD.
