St. Norbert College Commencement 2009 - Commencement Address

Commencement Address delivered by Haynes Johnson, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, on Sunday, May 17 at St. Norbert College Commencement 2009.

Johnson is a respected journalist and television commentator, and is the Knight Chair in Journalism at the University of Maryland. Johnson won the Pulitzer Prize in 1966 for his reporting of the civil rights struggle in Selma, Ala. He loves Wisconsin and is thoroughly knowledgeable about its political history, having earned a master's degree at the University of Wisconsin and written a best-selling book about the McCarthy era. This spring he will be publishing a new book recounting the remarkable presidential election of 2008.
