Read an interview with Mike Inez (on espn page 2 of all places, chatting about baseball), Mike is from OC. lives in Big Bear, loves the Angels............
Anyway, he says he speaks to Jerry almost every day, and they are working on some new stuff, prob take their time, maybe 2012 release ..............

Willie is awesome...Layne quit -- he didn't even speak to jerry or any of the guys during the last years of his life...all he did was sit in his house and pay people to go get drugs for him...the song "your decision" -- they left him alone and he chose to die...it was his decision -- it sucks but that's what he wanted. Fuck all the people hating on AIC -- I hope they come out with a new album, cause Black gives way to blue was fucking amazing.

jerry's voice is more prominent on the album. most likely to ease older listeners in accepting duvall when you can hear him. allowing duvall to sing more live is part of the acceptance process among diehard fans. Next album you'll definitely hear more of duvall.
