The ending answers a question I have. Will a KORG automatic tuner using E..A ..D..G.... work? My Mandolin is a Ibanez M510 A-Style Mandolin. Is this a good one? The wood features seem equal too or above much more expensive models..you tune from High to low...Why? I tend to tune from low to high is there a difference. THX

Hey friends, I wanted to know what is the tuning john paul jones from led zeppelin uses... anyone knows?
-
@Chaz6993X no. G, D,A, E. the courses (pairs of strings) are tuned in unison. so from highest pitched string to lowest, it would be ; E,E,A,A,D,D,G,G.

@RachieMyers I LOVE electronic tuners.... No matter how much I think I've got an instrument tuned, I check it with an electronic one and it all sounds sooo much better. It's been a year for you...have you got it all figured out by now and are playing?

this may sound silly but i imagine you a refering to string "1" ,"2", vica versa to be the combination of the grouped strings.?
