Exactly there is no better. I built my friend a PC for his music studio in his home. He's semi-pro. Bassist for The Deadfly Ensemble, and is using it for his home recording to contribute to the band despite the leader being in a different state.

believe me there is no "better" everyone swears by something everything is great and everything is bad - i use Vista and Fedora Core and you know what? I have no desire for a mac even though I've learned so much using macs (Final Cut and Logic are fantastic programs - i no longer use either though and I have no regrets), I do have pride in being a PC as Studio person though as most studios (music, art, anything like that really) is all mac based - I don't think there is a "better" though

...well, I'm a mac snob... in facts, now the macbooks have the intel processors... still, mac osx is better than windows vista (or Svista, as you prefer).

Promo is more accurate. I think this is a great thing though. Tired of Mac snobs perpetuating that musicians require Macs, which is entirely inaccurate.
