@Lexotoo He won every single battle? Lol. Aokiji pwned Luffy. The entire mugiwara crew didn't stand a chance against Kuma. And in the Marineford War... well, Luffy is lucky to still being alive.

The DF powers are very usual in Grand Line, so he isn't special. Haki is usual too, except the Haoshoku Haki (1/1000000 rate).

The most exceptional thing about Luffy is the "D" in his name. That's the interesting question.

@ZeelofTheMarty Still, Helmeppo is the best example for strong fathers not necissarily having strong sons. It is special to have such great names as ancestors, but it is by far not as interesting as the 'D' itself.
