Broken Xbox 360 Mic Jack

Well you can do two methods. 1 which is easier is go buy a new mic. Or 2 which takes some time fooling around with is, the jack isnt responding to what is inside the port in the controller. So its your mic not your controller but it aint responding to the controller fully. So you ether wrap it around your controller or you twist & take out & put back in till it works. Its really annoying, so I suggest to buy a new one. They cr*p out after awhile. Hope I helped! (:

Short terms : It works when it wants to, it goes in & out constantly!
Sometimes I cant hear them but they can hear me.
& when mic is plugged in it wont show up, and if it does sometimes it doesnt show that im talking as it did in the video.

@OzoQute36 I try to help as much as I can but from the seem of this it just seems like you need to get a new controller or try a different controller seeing if its just the controller or if its the mic or anything. Sorry if I didnt help. Any questions write on my wall or write back. Thanks -Bakon

plz somone help umm kk here my mic broke i put it in and out to try to fix it but it work ed a lil but thn the next day it didnt soo i put another mic from a phone and now it ALWAYS has a mic icon without a mic in and i cant hear form my tv or mic or tlk so pllzz help answer

same thing but i think its my controller cuz my mic is a turtle beach px21 n its new but i plug it in n i cant talk or hear ppl talk

Quick question... I just bought a new mic and it has the same problem with the one that i replaced which had the same things wrong with it and when i try my new mic on a different controller it still has the same problems.. so is the problem with the mic, the controllers or the xbox?

please rate this up cause it works a LOT of the time:

1) Get a wire for your wireless controller

2) Connect the wire to the USB port

3) Connect the other end to your controller

4) plug in your mic

5) It SHOULD work

i think its beacause of something to do with the mic not reciving power from the batteries when in wireless mode

the wire in the cable may be loose ive had it 3 times and it was always the wire loose

ok my mic works on my broken controller and i feel that its the turtle beaches that are breaking the mic jacks any 1 have a solution other then new head set

dood thats what happend to mine to it freaking sucks man its that god dang mic i have to of them and it does the same thing to yours i think its because its getting old or something because like freaking crap man thats retarded thats why i swithched to turtle beaches

Try sauddering a new 2.5mm jack on. Worked for me.
