Just looking at Canterbury's appalling fullback play in the Grand Final, one just has to imagine what a proper fullback, rather than a five-eighth or centre acting as a fullback, would have done for them. Having watched the best fullbacks from before that who were trained from youth to take Ricky Stuart's bombs, I can tell you such a player would have been worth little against most sides, but infinity to Canterbury on grand final day!

Canterbury-Bankstown was a good side during this famous 1994 season. We finished minor premiers, reached the big one, but didn't win.
