The more digital it is the more slower it takes to process. StarHub is afterall going through phase 1 of the pulse code modulation or PCM which works faster while mio TV is going through a few methods. PCM is a process that converts analogue signals into digital signals. However depending on the connection of your STB to the TV, it remains as a digital signal if you connect it via HDMI or alternatively convert back analogue signal if you are using the RCA or best known component/S-Video cable.
