@joshi18l true, ive also seen them use their 757's on flights to Shannon, been on one, but didnt fly continental :( delta

@hotrod869 Continental use their ETOPS 757's on transatlantic flights quite a lot, but i'm not sure whether thats because its off peak or its more economical, because I often see their 757s and 777s land at heathrow on any given day. :)

Great video. Just a bit confused why they would put you on a 757 on a transatlantic flight. Must have been pretty bad not having inflight entertainment system in your seat. This is probAbly the first vid on YouTube where I've seen any airline use a 757 from the u.s to Europe.

@Aviationnation10 i was i shannon today and seen continental use a 777 for there newark to shannon service. did that ever happen in bristol?
-
@oliverjumelle of course but not connecting but you can book On Aer Lingus to Jfk via Dublin which i would recommend than a 757 from shannon enjoy an A330 on Aer Lingus
-
@Aviationnation10 its still possble to get to bristol from newark exept its via shannon in ireland

Soft touchdown, I love it when pilots land it right on the money!

@civagiarn the captain probably decided to not use reverse thrust as he was taxiing to the end of the runway to exit. I was on a Thomson 737-800 two months ago landing on the same runway and I dont think we used reverse thrust because we exited at the end of the runway.
