I spent a few months in the bush over several visits- and it never leaves you. I was travelling and didn't want to spend anymore time in the city and just got as far into the bush by train as possible. Ended up travelling out to a sheep/ cattle station and worked as a Jackeroo. Best time of my life. The land is hard as the people are tough, but the hearts are warm. Drag your true character out of your boots- leave all the bullshit behind and live it, if you've never been before.
