An amazing speech given by coach Taylor before his team, the Shiloh Eagles, play for the State Championship.

Request: If you don't agree with what's said in this video, please just move on. There's no need to be negative or rude to people who DO believe in faith and God. And to my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, be kind to those who don't share our beliefs. We've already been labeled as hypocrites, so I really want to break that stereotype and show others that there really ARE Christians who respect the beliefs and opinions of others. Don't take it personally if someone doesn't agree with you because it's usually not about you in the first place. Some people have had very unpleasant experiences with Religion, Christians, etc, and as a result it has turned them off from God. So rather than arguing your point, let's be compassionate, understanding, respectful, AND make Jesus proud by loving others just as He did =)

  • Fellow Christians, a word of advice: Those who don't believe in God aren't likely to change their minds after reading comments on You Tube. Especially if they're from Christians who are abruprt, condescending and/or trying to push others beleive in God when they've clearly already made up their mind. So rather than argue about whose right, whose wrong ,or if He does or doesn't exist, let's just respect what each other believes. We are called to love others...not to judge or condemn them.

  • @BucktoothBob Yeah, I'm not a fan of religion, but I'm a fan of following Christ and living a life that brings Him honor and glory.

  • @dotakingist I'm sorry to hear that. I lost my job too last year and have been dealing with numerous medical issues. However, God doesn't 'do" these things to us. Yes, He allows hardships to happen in our lives, but what He wants is for us to trust His reasons for doing so. And I know that's very hard to do. There have been many times that I've been angry with God and have questioned what He's doing in my life, but regardless of my frustrations I still believe that He knows better than me.

  • "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

  • @LibertyAtYourService Are you saying that I can't have faith in somthing unless its a recognised religion or its Jesus himself?

I like stories but the only one I wish was true is Harry Potter because I would be one bad ass wizard who would make hot women polish my poles all day long (I am a pole collector).

Anyway, I'm off to meet my 572 Virgins. Later all you infidels.

    Allah Ackbar

  • I hated this movie. It felt like watching grass grow.

  • @sweetheart92115 I agree with you completely girl.........If you act like that than yes religion can have it's uses but all those rules about a God and what not those rules are fake and built for sole purpose of controlling people.....

  • @papermashedy619 Well, you and I have a different definition of religion then, so let's just agree to disagree and leave it at that. Random off topic question...does the 619 in your user name stand for the area code in San Diego?

  • @sweetheart92115 alright i dissagree that there is no god. but sweetheart, again all ur doing is describing religion.. maybe not christanity but u are describing, budism, and islamic traditions. love and compassion goes through every religion, and whether u want to believe it or not, u are describing religion.. and not just one form, but multiple. ur only thining christanity is bad cuz of what some people do, the moral still is the same as what ur describing.

  • @MrSaberq I thought I explained in my post above why I'm not a fan of religion, but I'll say it again. I'm not a fan of it because it has been misrepresented by people who claim to follow God. As a result religion has become associated with conformity & condemnation and that really upsets me. Christianity is supposed to be about loving others, not condeming them. I totally respect that fact that you don't believe in God, but you should respect that there are those who do. Btw, I'm a woman.

  • @sweetheart92115 Are you for real dude? Then how the hell arent you a fan of religion......Plus there is no god my man............Just do good in life if you can cos at the end there are no penalty's after life.........

  • @papermashedy619 I don't think that I did. To me, religion is about conformity and standarization and I'm not a fan of that at ALL. "Following Christ and living a life that brings Him honor and glory" is what Christianity is SUPPOSED to be about. It's supposed to be about love and compassion and grace and mercy.
