  • tons of very informative steps were never explained. Hotkeys need more explanation. Textures maps are used, but how? I had to replay the video at several parts several times to even get near where the tut was. Sadly this is one of the only vids that do these steps.

  • @00001010 well feel free to ask me anything you find confusing u can eater posted here on send me mail at darecarce@yahoo.com and I'll be glad to help :) . cheers.

  • @00001010 hello everyone. I can see that I'm going little too fast here and not explain all of the steps detailed as I go and I would have to apologize for that. These is some of my first tutorials I did so I 'm thinking the first free time that I will found I will sit and make a part two of the tutorial going in some more advanced tips and tricks as well as repeating all these steps and explaining a bit better. so if u have some requests to add some stuff in the next post in the comments. bye

  • sweet! where do you get the image? can you get any image online and add the alpha and bump files to make it look 3d?

  • The image is from cgarena.com and u can yea if u take a picture of some object and model it in 3d u can have it in 3d but u cannot let say take a picture of a room with people and so and put it on a plane with bump and color and have it in 3d it works for stuff that u modeled and then take textures and paint on the model based on the uv's and make them look rea. I hope that gives an answer to your question.

  • No problem guys, If u have any questions just ask or reach me via email i will be glad to help you. cheers.

  • @darecarce its ok i think your tutorial is not for the begginer ..great tuto by the way and tnx

  • @evanescfan did you look at it in the render view? if so, try using another format aside from jpg (like tga and png)

  • @cutpUK u have to unwrap the UV first. search for a tutorial on how to unwrap UV

  • Thanks!

  • QUESTION - when I choose a jpg for my alpha-map, my entire model goes semi-transparent, and the areas I have marked black remain visible (or in this case, semi visible) just like the rest of the model.

what could i be doing wrong?

  • im confused, what if i wanted to model something like a computer how would i add textures onto a curved area?

  • i think if you speak faster and act slower the tutorial would be a lot helpfull..
