  • I take my hat of to these guys, I have shifted 100 footers (or slightly longer before now) but to move that length, on those roads with a manual steering rear trailer I take my hat off, it is by no short way an easy job.

Oh and we only drive for a living, how hard is that :-p

Got to ask though, with that length and that tow going up that turn to Barr, how the hell did you get up? those trailers at 1/2 the length drink any power you have getting up hills!

  • I live in Ayrshire and have seen some parts for Wind Turbines in Ayr Harbour, destined for a village just outside of Girvan where there is a Windfarm being built!

I've no doubt I'll probablly see theese lorry's leaving Ayr Harbour with the loads on the back! I have enormous respect for theese drivers!!

  • Awesome.

My record is 32m long, 4m wide and 98tons.

  • looks good on the back of this lorry but try climbing that tower section for a living, not fun ha

  • I had great fun watching these getting hauled up that steep hill to the Barr road. I learnt very quickly to avoid these roads, especially in the evenings, because there could often be very long hold-ups.

  • All my respect for the drivers and for the man from the back :) i woluld like to work on this kind trucks and this kind of transports, i have the agabarithics transport licence but i don`t have the neceseared experience. (sorry for my english :D )

  • nice vid
