Great on them. It's a shame that the team handling this project's PR was so incompetent. This should have been a front page story, esp on local TV, but someone (not the hero participants) dropped the ball and contributed to the fund raising shortfall. No one knew about this. Local connections would have put the word out. It's a shame that these heroes would have got better PR performance from a sorority social chair.
